Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled multi-craft Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair, and install plant production and/or processing equipment. This is a Second Shift position with hours from 2:30pm to 11:00pm.

Where You'll Work
This role will be based out of our 24/7 manufacturing facility in Lawton, MI.
What You'll Do:
- Maintain and repair production and processing equipment, utilities, refrigeration, and facilities
- Install, repair, and maintain piping components, motors, pumps, control panels, pneumatic systems, and controls
- Continuously improve equipment performance and reduce downtime
- Collaborate with production and processing teams to maximize machine uptime
- Train other mechanics on equipment maintenance and set-up
- Use of computerized Maintenance Management System to document work orders, parts usage, and equipment information
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks and suggest efficiency improvements
- Recommend and implement changes to improve equipment performance and reliability
- Follow food safety, housekeeping, and sanitation procedures at all times
- Participate in regular meetings
- Other duties as assigned
Who You Are:
- Able to work safely around complex, automated machinery in a non-temperature regulated environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication, including both written and verbal forms of collaboration
- Proactive in finding root cause and fixing issues
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
What You'll Need:
- 2+ years of experience preferred in a manufacturing/processing environment as a Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, Utilities Operator, Refrigeration Technician, or Preventative Maintenance Technician
- Minimum of 2 years of machine maintenance and repair experience required
- Experience in a food, beverage, and/or GMP compliant environment preferred
- Multi-craft skillset including experience with Electrical, PLC, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Motors, and mechanical systems
- Must pass a maintenance aptitude test before hiring
