Maintenance Technician at ICONMA, LLC

Our Client, an Automotive Seating Manufacturer company, is looking for Maintenance Technician for their Lansing, MI location

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining & supporting all equipment in JIT Production Environment and other areas as required.
• Complete all tasks, work orders, & PM's as directed by supervisor in a safe & timely manner.
• Make approved modifications to machinery and equipment to meet production needs.
• Perform repairs, rebuild & trouble shoot equipment to ensure production efficiencies are met.
• Daily record all line calls, work orders, PM's & work history electronically in Maintenance System.
• Complete all required and applicable training required by client.
• Must continuously improve and develop skills/knowledge.
• Complete all other tasks as requested by the Engineering Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor
• Authority and responsibility to stop the production line should a safety or quality issue appear.
• Maintain license to operate a Hilo, Scissor Lift and Articulating Lift

Requirements

• Experience with Robotics and PLC are a priority.
• Mechanical, Technical & Electrical Expertise (preferred)
• Journeyman’s Card -OR - 3-5 years of experience of maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Be an expert with using hand tools.
• Strong experience with motors, chains and sprockets required.
• Experience in industrial automotive preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent, certification (Preferred)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 30lbs.
• Ability to safely access vertical areas via stairs or ladder
• Ability to safely climb and work on a ladder
• Ability to safely work with Power Tools
• Standing or walking 6-8 hours to assist production
• Bending, Pushing, & Pulling
