Job Summary:

We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the team! While working with the Maintenance team, you will perform maintenance, troubleshoot problems, perform preventive maintenance and repair electrical, mechanical, and industrial equipment to ensure a safe and efficient workspace to produce prestigious, quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and perform preventive maintenance on most electrical, mechanical, and industrial equipment.
Troubleshoot and analyze problems on equipment (i. e. control panels, air compressors, ovens, bearings, drives and air conditioning units, etc.).
Perform repairs on most electrical, mechanical, and industrial equipment from pneumatic impact guns to programmable controllers and microprocessors.
Be able to weld, cut and grind metal for mold and machine repairs.
Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation (ex. requisitions for equipment, etc.) for department.
Welding of machine parts and/or machinery.
Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements.
Build and/or remodel.
Answer questions and provide support for the operation in a cooperative manner.
Perform other related duties as required.
There may be times when a temporary work assignment is required to meet the requirements of the department. Work assignments will be made at the discretion of Management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

3 – 5 years Industrial Maintenance (preferred, will allow schooling as experience):
Associates Degree in Electrical Maintenance (preferred).
Journeyman’s card - Electrical or Mechanical (preferred).
Rotational molding experience (a plus).
Welding experience (Preferred).
3 - 5 Years’ Manufacturing experience (preferred).
Forklift/Scissor Lift Experience (required).

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and peripheral vision. Forklift/Scissor lift driving will also be required.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals and outside.
