Position Overview:

As a Hotel Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the functionality and safety of our hotel facilities. Your technical expertise and proactive approach will ensure that our guests experience seamless comfort and convenience during their stay. This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong problem-solving skills and a dedication to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Routine Maintenance: Execute regular inspections and maintenance tasks across the hotel, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and general equipment.
• Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and hotel policies to safeguard guests and employees.
• Facility Upkeep: Maintain the overall functionality and appearance of hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and inventory of supplies.
• Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to emergency maintenance requests to ensure guest safety and comfort.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to address maintenance-related needs and provide exceptional service to guests.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise: Proficient in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems with a strong understanding of relevant tools and technologies.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose issues efficiently and implement effective solutions.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in maintenance or technical fields are preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the hospitality industry.
• Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional service to guests.
• Independence: Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, while also being a team player.
• Flexibility: Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
