We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the facility does not deteriorate.
Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
Maintain and repair specialized equipment and machinery found in kitchens, laundries, hospitals, stores, offices, and factories.
Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
Plan and lay out repair work, using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, and schematic diagrams.
Record maintenance and repair work performed and the costs of the work.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in a maintenance technician role within a manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
Extensive knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Proven experience with equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance programs.
Strong mechanical skills and understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
