Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Due to tremendous growth throughout the company, we are seeking a Maintenance Technician with critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to join our team
Hours: 9:30am-6:00pm
$25.00-$35.00/hour (based on experience)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial machinery
Complete daily maintenance and repair logs
Communicate with Production Associates and Management
Maintain and secure work tools
Clean and maintain work area
Follow all safety procedures
Provide training as requested
Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Working knowledge, education, or experience in one or more of the following areas:
Electrical systems
Mechanical systems
Hydraulic & pneumatic systems
Plumbing
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school training preferred
Current, active driver’s license
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Regular, consistent attendance of scheduled shifts
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience in Industrial Maintenance
In-depth knowledge, education, and/or experience in the following areas:
HVAC
Welding
Piping systems
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Ability to pass DOT physical
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
- Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 30 pounds
- Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and work boots
