Maintenance Technician - Spherion

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and systems within the facility. This position requires a hands-on, problem-solving mindset, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance tasks on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other facility systems.
Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment and machinery to minimize downtime.
Respond to maintenance requests from team members and management in a timely and professional manner.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment, machinery, and building systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, including repairs, inspections, and replacements.
Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations during maintenance activities.
Install new equipment, machinery, and systems as required.
Assist with maintaining an organized maintenance shop, ensuring tools and supplies are readily available.
Collaborate with other departments to address operational needs and improvements.
Perform emergency repairs as needed, including after-hours or weekend shifts when required.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in a related field preferred.
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and technical documents.
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
