Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical) | Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve availability, capability and yield | Performs equipment failure analyses (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance) | Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems | Prepares technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Troubleshoot and repair factory machinery, laser, electrical and mechanical, pneumatic systems.
+ Correct and/or improve existing production processes and equipment.
+ Collaborate with engineers and technical staff on process improvements and plant changes.
+ Operate simple test equipment, including, but not limited to: Multi-meter, tape measure, dial indicators, measurement tools.
+ Move machinery, including rigging and utility connections.
+ Fabricate equipment as needed, including cutting, welding, grinding.
+ Troubleshoot CNC programs and machine controllers.
+ Manage AMMS system - PM/TPM work order system and daily maintenance workload.
+ Ensure that proper safety procedures are used in maintaining and repairing of production equipment.
+ Foster Safety program to continually improve safety practices.
+ Monitor and communicate on equipment repairs with operations, engineering, and staff level employees.
+ Comfortable with computer usage, email, Microsoft word, excel and project.
+ Track and report on metrics for schedule attainment and machine downtime.
+ The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, and color vision.
