Maintenance Technician II - Pipe Recruit

Title: Maintenance Technician II
Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI
Shift: 3rd (11 PM - 7 AM)

Job Overview:

Support manufacturing operations by performing multi-craft equipment maintenance with a focus on reliability and preventive measures. Troubleshoot, repair, and improve production machinery, and participate in process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2-year Technical Degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• Proficient in computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, CMMS).
• Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and manuals.
• Familiar with shop equipment (drill press, band saw, power tools).
• Skilled in precision measuring devices and equipment alignment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Capable of training and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Align and maintain mechanical drive systems and lubrication requirements.
• Test and repair electrical systems (e.g., wiring, receptacles, circuits).
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and recommend process improvements.
• Train and mentor junior technicians.

Quality and Safety:

• Stay updated on maintenance procedures through training.
• Report safety incidents and maintain a safe working environment.

• Meet the demands of industrial maintenance, adhering to safety and environmental guidelines.
