What does a Maintenance Technician II do?
The Maintenance Technician works with minimal supervision and ensures facilities are kept in good repair and working order. Duties include rough carpentry, painting, and basic equipment or facility repairs. All carpentry, electrical work, or simple plumbing repairs are performed under supervision by qualified personnel.
Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Five years of residential and/or commercial construction experience is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- A valid NYS Driver's License that meets Agency standards is required.
- Use of own tools is required.
