BASIC FUNCTION: The Hotel Maintenance Technician I will assist guests with maintenance or other requests, identifying and correcting the problem. Responsibilities also include performing various work order tasks and preventive maintenance on property equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform general maintenance duties on properties.
- Responsibilities include standard guest room maintenance.
- Painting, filter changing of HVAC systems and pool equipment.
- Pool chemical monitoring and pool maintenance.
- Tennis court maintenance.
- Clearing condensation and plumbing fixture drain lines.
- Snow removal.
- Completing daily infrastructure check out sheets and identifying issues to report back to the department for correction
- Assist lead techs with property upgrades and repairs.
- Must be able to lift and transport materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis..
- Physical duties require a full range of physical motion in order to operate manual and electrically powered tools and test equipment.
- Climbing stairs, operating snow removal equipment and machinery are frequent tasks.
- Focus on customer needs and customer satisfaction.
- Projects a positive customer service environment to both internal and external customers.
- Promotes and encourages an attitude of exemplary customer service and high integrity to all the staff within Facilities Management.
- Contributes to the overall success of the Facilities Maintenance Department by performing other essential duties and responsibilities as assigned.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
- Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager.
- No on call hours.
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma/equivalent; vocational/technical training preferred.
- Valid Driver's license is required.
OTHER:
- There are 1st and 2nd shift hours. A mixed schedule will be required with flexibility of the team to cover all shifts.
- Weekend and holiday work is required.
