The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the onsite maintenance and repairs to facilities owned, or under the control of the Agency. This position will often interact with onsite staff and vendors working on projects that have been assigned by the Facilities Department. This position is expected to maintain high personal and professional standards as well as complying with all Agency rules and regulations.
Job Description:

+ Schedule: Full time, 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri 7:30pm - 4pm
The Maintenance Technician's Responsibilities are:
+ Perform carpentry, basic electrical and plumbing, painting and general repairs in a professional manner as directed.
+ File all required paperwork to complete and close out each project.
+ Perform routine maintenance and required state and local inspections to assorted equipment as directed.
+ Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and professional manner.
+ On-call responsibilities.
+ Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
+ Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
+ 3 to 5 Years’ experience in general repairs or 5 years minimum experience in the carpentry field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Clean driving record and reliable personal transportation.
+ Demonstrated ability to relate to a substance abuse treatment population.
