Essential Job Functions:
- Perform all work tasks in a safe and timely manner and according to company policies and procedures.
- Supports Facilities Manager and maintenance team in safely handling daily maintenance of building and manufacturing operations. Perform corrective and preventive maintenance in an industrial environment, repair production/facility equipment, non-contractor installation of utilities and equipment. This includes general building repairs and maintenance such as HVAC/R, electrical, fire/life safety systems, security/communication systems, plumbing and manufacturing operations including PLCs, pumps, mixers, valves and hoses, and the automated manufacturing line maintenance.
- Supports vendor/contractor projects related to building maintenance and facilities projects including acquiring quotes, submitting requisitions, executing contractor/vendor safety/insurance checks and acknowledging receipt of services.
- Serve as a member of the site’s spill response and/or medical response team and/or safety team.
- Work with CMMS (Cogz) entering and closing WO’s and entering equipment and PM to Cogz system. Work with other company software as required for the position.
- Position requires an individual to work 40 hours per week minimum with the expectation of overtime hours ranging from 1-15 hour per week. Must be available for after hours on call for emergency calls including production downtime. Must be available occasional holidays and weekends for project work.
- The 5 primary tasks performed by an individual functioning in this position and the approximate amount of time spent performing these tasks are: 1) mechanical (i.e., HVAC) 20%, 2) electrical 20%, 3) plumbing 20%, 4) carpentry20%, 5) miscellaneous (i.e., furniture/workspace assembly/moving/reconfiguration, snow removal, grounds maintenance, etc.) 20%.
- Work with the team to ensure all compliance obligations are met including but not limited to Federal/State/local laws/guidelines, corporate assigned goals and objectives, and ISO standards including 14,001 (Environmental Management System) and ISO 45,001 (Health and Safety Management system), and ISO 9001 (Quality Systems), at minimum.

Educational/Experience/Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Additional technical training in building equipment is desirable.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a maintenance in a mechanical/electrical capacity in an industrial/manufacturing environment. General knowledge of building systems/manufacturing equipment with the ability to troubleshoot.
- Must be highly motivated and enthusiastic a team player. Good communication skills and general computers skills required. Valid and clean drivers’ license required. CDL a plus. Facilities Management Certification a plus.
- Must have a good mechanical aptitude and have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment (i.e. pumps, mixers, etc.), minor electrical troubleshooting, pipe fitting, plumbing, copper work and basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of welding, HVAC systems and lean principles a plus.
