Job Title: Apartment Maintenance Technician

Job Locations: 3700 Snowdrift Cir, Virginia Beach, VA 23462

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm

Pay Rate: $15.00/hr.

Job Duties:

• Fix minor plumbing such as unclogging drains, plunging toilets, and repairing leaky spigots and faucets.
• Perform miscellaneous minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls.
• Maintain daily logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities.
• Communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
• HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Change out dishwashers, toilets.
• Perform light caulking, painting, light drywall work.
• Report any maintenance problems, or safety hazard.
• Inspect and prepare apartments for Move-Ins.
• Perform all general repair and maintenance.
• Hanging blinds
• Replacing outlet covers
• Changing A/C Filters
• Keeping trash bins emptied
• Blowing leaves from breezeways
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have the ability to lift to 35 lbs.
• Ability to read and understand instructions.
• Prior experience in some maintenance capacity
