Title: Calibration Technician
Location: North Kingstown, RI
Job Type: 0-10+ Months
Hours: 1ST Shift (M-F, 7:00AM-5:00PM)
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance, repair, and calibration of Electrical and Hydraulic equipment, perform electrical safety test, all according to specifications and requirements.
All equipment must be inspected at arrival in Equipment Centre.
Needed repair and/or maintenance/calibration must be registered in internal software, and carried out according to internal, and manufacturers specification.
The role is to ensure calibration of the tools which are going to be used for installation and the service of wind turbines.
The role is also to test, calibrate, operate and repair hydraulic, mechanical, and electronic measuring equipment.
Fault finding, strip down and diagnostics of defect hydraulic equipment.
It involves working in a laboratory setting where procedures are carefully followed from start to finish of the calibration procedure.
Testing, calibrating and maintenance/repair of hire stock of instrument, client’s equipment, laboratory equipment and any other equipment.
Qualifications:
Understanding of electrical and hydraulic tooling.
Previous experience in service, repair, and maintenance roles.
Experience working in an ISO environment.
Proficiency in IT, including MS Office.
Basic electrical and hydraulic knowledge.
Engineering background.
Ability to work well in a team and meet deadlines.
