Maintenance Technician at Building One Facility Services

To set up, adjust, and maintain assigned equipment with responsibility for production quality and safety on this equipment.

• Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment
• Able to plan for and take corrective action on related problems found
• Able to maintain maximum production and quality by making correct adjustments

• Reviews production schedule and when equipment is not scheduled for manufacturing changes over equipment to new sizes
• Test equipment to check operations

• Able to perform scheduled maintenance
• Makes preventative maintenance checks and inspection of assigned equipment
• Reports findings to supervisor and takes appropriate action
• Repair and diagnose problems with support equipment such as cranes, chillers, air compressors, cooling towers, and HVAC

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, blueprints
• Ability to effectively present information management
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• 3 or more years experience in injection molding as a maintenance technician
• High school diploma preferred
• Two year technical degree a plus
