Maintenance Technician (Direct hire) - Apidel Technologies

40 hours a week

Shift: 3rd  shift: 11 PM to 7 AM

Position Description    

Perform a wide variety ofmechanical and electrical maintenance work of a skilled and complex nature.Installs, repairs, and maintains manufacturing equipment and plant facilities necessaryfor satisfactory operation of equipment and processes. This position ismoderately physical.

Diagnose mechanical,electrical/electronic, hydraulic and combustion malfunctions and operatingdifficulties. Determines repair procedures and implements those repairs thatwill be effective in preventing reoccurrence.

Can navigate and interpretladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software for the purpose oftroubleshooting equipment faults.

Can modify positions anddiagnose problems on ABB robots. Models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, and M6700.

Installs, moves, and alignsnew and existing equipment.

Sets up and operates varioustypes of machine shop equipment with a moderate degree of accuracy andefficiency.

Performs both gas and electricwelding operations.

Completes related machinerepair records, performs associated handling duties, and maintains work area ina neat and orderly condition.

Performs all necessarypreventive and proactive tasks on plant equipment.

Performs other related dutiesas assigned by supervision and/or designated team leader.       

Skills Required

Experience Required    

Months of experience specificto this position (explain) 48 months of related experience in Allen Bradley,Hydraulics, Robotics, and

Welding. A MaintenanceTechnician A level must be proficient at troubleshooting die casting machinecells through the use of PLCs and electrical and hydraulic schematics.
