This Maintenance Tech plays a vital role in the upkeep of all facilities/equipment. As part of a team effort, this Maintenance Tech will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installation and maintenance on all plant and facility equipment to include electrical, mechanical, grounds and building. Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Type: Full-time/Direct Hire/On-site
Hours: M - F, 7am - 4pm
Pay: $26-29/hour

This Maintenance Technician will be accountable for the following duties:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on all production and facility equipment/machine.
- Uses hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments to work on electrical panels/control systems, motors, pneumatic/hydraulic components, conveyors, and manufacturing equipment.
- Constructs and fabricates parts using hand tools and specifications
- Supports pre-planned work in sister facilities as needed - Rochester and Syracuse
- Responds promptly to all maintenance task requests through email system and updates/maintains preventative maintenance logs
- Maintains shop and housekeeping supply inventory
- Maintains cleanliness and repair of outside grounds (which may include snow and production waste removal duties as needed)
We're looking for skilled industrial Maintenance professionals with the following background profile:
- Trade school certification/Associates Degree in a technical field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1 - 3 years related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency working in a computer supported environment with Microsoft office programs
- Clean/valid NYS Driver License
- Demonstrated experience working safely with power tools and equipment such as saws and drills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain, troubleshoot and repair electric, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints, operating manuals/ instructions, and electrical schematics.
