Maintenance Technician Diesel - MMS Manufacturing

The diesel maintenance technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines and related systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
• Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency.
• Assist in the training of junior technicians as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.

Qualifications:

• Strong understandng of vehicle and mechanical diesel systems.
• Technical certification in diesel mechanics preferred.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or maintenance technician.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, systems, and components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
