Maintenance Technician - AmeriLux International, LLC

AmeriLux International is hiring! We are looking for a hardworking, self-driven, safety-oriented team member for the AmeriLux Maintenance Department. If you enjoy a variety of work this is the position for you! Day to day work will vary and off-site work at commercial and residential real estate properties in the De Pere area will be required.

Qualifications:

• Experience with commercial and residential property maintenance and repair
• Experience within production or warehouse environment
• Train and operate forklifts, scissors lift and other power tools
• Ability to work well with other team members with a high degree of enthusiasm
• Ability to multitask and prioritize to suit internal and external customer needs
• High attention to detail and drive to “do it right the first time”
• Prioritize Safety- maintain systems and help implement new safety initiatives
• Desire to learn more and be well rounded in knowledge base
• Ability to work unsupervised and to develop and manage day to day workflow
• Ability to lead a small team or project management experience a plus
• Experience in welding and light fabrication (jigs/fixtures) a plus

Responsibilities:

• Perform variety of preventative maintenance tasks on building, grounds, and equipment
• Support production by seeking opportunities to improve tools and working environment
• Manage shop supplies and look for opportunities for improvement (quality, cost savings, etc.)
• Maintain a clean safe workspace.
• Drive safety culture by performing audits, building, and sustaining safety systems etc.
• Perform routine maintenance to residential property holdings
• Work with outside contractors on various projects
• Assist with production/warehouse activities on an “as needed basis”
