Key Responsibilities:
- Execute preventative and corrective maintenance throughout the facility to ensure machinery and equipment operate efficiently and downtime is minimized.
- Diagnose, dismantle, repair, and reassemble machinery, including hoists, lifts, and conveyors, to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations.
- Collaborate with team members and work independently to troubleshoot and address maintenance challenges effectively.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and service schedules.
- Partner with other departments to support production goals and ensure operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or a related field is advantageous.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the plastics manufacturing industry or a similar production environment.
- Relevant certifications or additional training related to machinery maintenance or industrial systems.
- Demonstrated experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in a manufacturing setting.
