About the Role:
Assist in the coordination daily operations of the engineering/maintenance departments and staff; maintains all equipment, interior and exterior of buildings, and property in proper condition.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain property including but not limited to offices, production areas, public areas, and equipment through development and implementation of preventive maintenance program; ensures all maintenance and repairs are completed in a timely, cost-effective manner and according to all specifications
- Maintain organization’s physical operations including but not limited to refrigeration, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, kitchen equipment, emergency generators, plumbing, water treatment, and electric systems
- Maintain turnover of units by scheduling in-house work and external vendors as needed
- Interfaces with appropriate staff/managers to receive information regarding maintenance needs; ensures timely response to requests
- Maintains proper inventory levels; authorizes purchase orders for supplies and equipment
- Ensures all fire and safety inspections are completed and any discrepancies corrected; ensures property is in compliance with all safety and sanitation policies, procedures, and regulations
- Assists staff in maintenance and repair of equipment, buildings, and property as needed
- Participates in the after-hours emergency on-call service for residents
- Participate in required quarterly PM inspections of homes
- Pre-inspection of all properties in preparation for all REAC inspections
- Participate and maintain work orders to ensure completed to standards and in a timely manner
- Participate in completion of unit turns
Skills Required:
- 2+ years of related experience or equivalent
- EPA Certifications and other licenses required by law (preferred)
- Knowledge of ventilation/air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other generally accepted maintenance skills.
- Knowledge of city and state building codes, OSHA requirements, and ADA laws.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards

- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Proficient on OneSite and Microsoft a plus
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills.
