Maintenance Technician in College Park, GA
Pay Rate: $20/h
Hours: 2 weeks of training from 9 am to 5:30 pm, after that, will be moved to 2nd shift from 3:30 pm to 12 am.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- The essential duties of this position include but are not limited to:
- Provides troubleshooting support for equipment and process issues that will arise and works within the available support channels to address the issues to maintain the equipment and the operation, guaranteeing this way the safety of the process and the productivity of the site.
- Create and follow a preventive maintenance plan based on the metrics of MTBF and MTTR for all the equipment of the factory.
- Will act as equipment "owner" for packaging of pharmaceutical products and Nitrocellulose Solution Plant.
- Reviews and maintains inventory levels of spare parts, consumables, components, etc. that are required for the operation of the factories.
- Ensures PMs on all equipment are scheduled and completed as required to ensure a robust, and reliable equipment train.
- Responsible for timely completion of assigned daily tasks; Ensures own work is properly coordinated with the activities of others as necessary to successfully complete assigned activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of project improvements.
Qualifications:

Required skills:
- Demonstrates leadership qualities within the assigned department.
- Need expertise in mechanics, instrumentation and automation.
- Hands-on mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures or government regulations; write reports and procedure manuals; effectively present information and respond to questions from managers.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions; interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Knowledge of PLC interface will be a plus.
- Occasionally able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
