Maintenance Technician

We are searching for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a well-established company in Cleveland Ohio. This position is responsible for thorough inspections, troubleshooting, and maintaining a wide variety of industrial building equipment and process systems including plumbing and electrical/mechanical maintenance.

Salary

• $28-35 per hour with overtime

Hours

• 6:30-3pm Flexible

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Repair of equipment breakdowns.
• Orders parts from vendors
• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic, in the troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments to all machinery equipment, and building facilities.
• Respond to building emergencies.
• Coordinate with contractors as needed.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the maintenance department and after completing jobs.

Knowledge / Skills / Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, with at least 5 years industrial electrical/mechanical maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems & controls.
• Mechanical machine repair experience.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Detail oriented.
• Strong communication skills.
