Responsibilities:
- Perform regular mechanical and electrical maintenance on a wide range of equipment, including machinery, robotics, and PLC systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, utilizing your extensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement improvements to equipment and processes.
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and decommissioning of machinery and systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact on operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance within the engineering industry.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with robotics and automated systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work on-call or overtime when necessary.
