Job Details

Responsibilities:

Performing routine and preventive maintenance on all production and operating equipment to ensure maximum uptime.
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues with packaging and manufacturing equipment.
Assisting in the installation and set-up of new machinery and equipment.
Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and organized work areas.
Collaborating with team members to improve processes and enhance machine functionality.
Documenting all performed work, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately.
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and suggesting changes that can increase equipment productivity or reduce costs.
Communicating effectively with management and team members regarding equipment status and maintenance plans.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance mechanic role within the manufacturing industry.
Proficient knowledge of packaging equipment and manufacturing processes.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in the manufacturing industry.
Physically able to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
High school diploma or equivalent; further training or certification in mechanical or industrial maintenance is a plus.
