Maintenance Technician - Allied Reliability

Pay Rate: $32/hour

Job Summary:

As a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for the setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial liquid packaging equipment, such as cappers, torque machines, labelers, and more. You'll work with a variety of equipment including boilers, pumps, mixers, conveyors, and palletizers

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
• Perform scheduled and emergency repairs on production and batching equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues, replace or repair parts, and make necessary adjustments.
• Identify faulty operations and defective materials, reporting issues to supervisors.
• Proficiently use digital Volt, Ohm, and Amp meters to test electrical circuitry.
• Work with PLC systems (especially Allen-Bradley)hydraulicspneumaticsweldingfabricationHVACair compressors, and forklifts

Equipment Experience Preferred:

• Plumbing, piping, and pipe threading.
• Electrical conduit installation and distribution.
• Boilers (high steam pressure) and feed water systems.
• Air compressors and air dryers.
• Basic welding (arc, MIG, oxygen/acetylene) and metal fabrication.
• Pumps (positive displacement) and motor coupling.
• Forklift repair (LP type).
• AC and DC motors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent education.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical diagrams and maintenance manuals.
• Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and basic electronics is a plus.
• Strong welding and fabrication skills are advantageous.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Outlook).

Work Environment:

You will be exposed to moving machinery, airborne particles, and occasional extreme weather conditions. The noise level can be loud at times. Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, crouching, lifting over 50 pounds, and performing vision-related tasks.
