Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and improvement of our industrial equipment. We are looking for a professional who is proficient in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems, and has a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine and preventive maintenance on all equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Diagnose and repair faults in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Program and troubleshoot PLC systems.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and work efficiently to resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet operational goals.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to keep skills current and broaden knowledge.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proven ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, as needed.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
