Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
1. Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of manufacturing equipment, including Allen Bradley PLC, HMI, VFD, and pneumatic systems.
2. Performing preventive maintenance on all equipment to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance.
3. Utilizing electrical and mechanical skills to maintain, repair, and install new or improved equipment.
4. Using CMMS to track and document all maintenance activities and updates.
5. Collaborating with other team members to improve processes and procedures to enhance safety and efficiency.
6. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and suggesting ways to improve the reliability and functionality of equipment.
7. Responding promptly and effectively to emergency breakdowns and repairs.
8. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment for all employees.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Maintenance Technician position will have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC, HMI, VFD, and pneumatic troubleshooting.
3. Strong electrical and mechanical skills.
4. Experience with CMMS, Equipment Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and Preventive Maintenance.
5. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
7. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
8. The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
