Primary responsibilities for Maintenance Technicians include:
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor to install, replace, and repair production machines and facility equipment
- Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, and machinery under
- direct supervision
- Perform basic machinist tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals and work orders to perform required service or maintenance
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities
- Use a variety of mechanical tools, meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
- Address grounds maintenance as needed including yard work and snow shoveling/removal
- Follow and practice safety procedures and help keep employees safe
- Other duties and responsibilities to be assigned as needed
