Maintenance Technician - Alltex Staffing & Personnel

 Maintenance Technician 

• Perform minor electrical maintenance to include but not limited to replacement or repair of fixtures using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools.
• Perform minor plumbing, carpentry and masonry work.
• Prepares the surfaces and paints various structures and equipment to preserve wood and metals parts from corrosion and maintain a safe, comfortable work environment.
• Keep records of the day-to-day maintenance and service activities undertaken in the facility.
• Maintain Inventory for spare parts.
• Practice good housekeeping by cleaning up area after repairs are completed.
• Comply with all corporate policies relating to health and safety while carrying out maintenance functions.
• Pay the bills 

Requirements 

• High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician working in an Industrial Facility.
• Extensive knowledge of welding, carpentry, repair of electrical and mechanical equipment as well as installation of new equipment.
