POSITION SUMMARY
To support the manufacture of high quality brake pads in a safe and efficient manner.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Make repairs to all plant machinery
* Electrical and PLC
* Mechanical
* Hydraulic
* Pneumatic
* Welding
* Plumbing
* Be able to safely use shop equipment (electrical meters and scopes, computers, machine shop equipment, industrial powered lift trucks, and all hand tools)
* Fill out and enter work orders into the maintenance database
* Responsible for the daily and weekly checks of ADSMG's support equipment (air compressors, air dryers, dust collectors, etc.)
* Work with Engineering, Quality and Management to make improvements to plant machinery
* Responsible for securing the plant before shutdowns
* Perform Preventative Maintenance on machinery
* Change worn parts
* Make machinery improvements
* Install upgraded parts as needed
* Follow and maintain PM set schedule for the plant coordinating with all managers affected by the schedule
* Collect data from machine inspection and work orders to identify priorities
* Perform machine quality and safety checks
* Monitor machine operation for worn or damaged parts
* Follow OSHA guidelines
* Follow 5S procedures
* Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures
* Perform Predictive Maintenance (oil analysis)
* Obtain needed parts list for upcoming projects and find replacement parts
* Maintain parts inventory
* Assist with special projects as required by Maintenance Supervisor and Management
* Deal with outside services such as contractors and vendors as required
* Other duties as deemed necessary

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
Associate degree or higher in Industrial Maintenance (Preferred). With 5-10 years' experience in a manufacturing environment. A combination of education and related experience will be considered. Leadership: a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work environment involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions (e.g., working around moving machines in production facilities) and protective clothing or gear such as safety glasses, gloves and safety shoes is required.
