[Job Summary]
Maintain high level of safety and reliability of manufacturing and facility equipment through application
of preventative and predictive methods of maintenance, troubleshooting, high quality repairs and
installations. Perform highly diversified duties to support the achievement of the plant’s business goals
and objectives.
[Job Description]
Work safe and in full compliance with safety and food safety regulations.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance of manufacturing machines and equipment, and
plant facilities.
- Perform planned maintenance in accordance to the tasks and plans, using CMMS.
- Troubleshoot and repair failed production equipment in timely and cost-efficient manner, reducing
downtime and production loss.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals to know the functions of machines in order to effectively
troubleshoot, repair and perform the after-repair adjustments
- Perform repairs with new and rebuilt parts.
- Rebuild and fabricate parts when applicable.
- Fabricate equipment guards.
- Detect faulty and/or insufficient operations, report to schedule corrective maintenance.
- Install new and rig out redundant equipment.
- Modify equipment as required to improve reliability and maintainability.
- Maintain and repair material handling equipment.
- Understand PLC functions and effectively troubleshoot logics of inputs and outputs.
- Replace electric motors and controlling equipment.
- Program VFD and temperature controllers
- Adheres to all Safety and GMP regulations.
- Other duties or projects as assigned.
[Qualifications]
Comprehensive knowledge of the standard principles and concepts of mechanical design and
machine automation required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electric drive.
- Comprehensive use of multimeter and megohmmeter.
- Proficiency in mechanical transmission and components.
- Knowledge of fits and tolerances.
- Comprehensive knowledge of lubrication.
- Working knowledge of fluid power (pneumatics and hydraulics)
- Knowledge of at least one CMMS required.
- Knowledge of controls power supply, different types of sensors, low voltage wiring, basic welding,
