Position Overview:
AGM Management is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring that our 68-unit property is well-maintained and operating efficiently. You will perform complex maintenance tasks, diagnose issues, and provide timely solutions to ensure tenant and resident satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems.
- Diagnose and repair building issues, including mechanical, structural, and safety systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and ensure systems are operating efficiently.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and provide prompt service.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for major repairs or projects.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
- Assist in training and supervising junior maintenance staff when needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications are a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.
- Familiarity with tools, equipment, and machinery used in maintenance work.
- Ability to read technical manuals and diagrams to perform necessary repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Standing, bending, and working in various environments (indoor/outdoor) for extended periods.
- Ability to use ladders and other safety equipment.
