Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician Assistant, where you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving production and ancillary equipment. This role involves performing preventative and corrective maintenance, ensuring operational efficiency, and contributing to a safe and well-maintained facility. You'll utilize your knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions. Shift:

6:45am - 3:15pm Monday - Friday

Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 an hour

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production and ancillary equipment.
Conduct general upkeep tasks, including housekeeping, landscaping, painting, and carpentry.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues.
Operate and maintain forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment through proper housekeeping.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding maintenance issues.
Accurately complete maintenance documentation and reports as required.

Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience as a maintenance technician.
Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Manual dexterity and strong problem-solving skills.
Experience operating and maintaining a forklift.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time.
Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
