Crane Currency has an immediate position opening for a Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift). Based out of Nashua, New Hampshire.

How you will make an impact:
Your work and day-to-day operations are the heartbeat that keeps the site up and running. Our internal and external customers rely on your skills and experience to troubleshoot and creatively solve challenges that arise within the manufacturing site.
Responsibilities include supporting manufacturing equipment requirements both proactively and through troubleshooting as well as taking the initiative to complete complex tasks and projects.
- Learn the manufacturing process and equipment to fully understand equipment functionality needs.
- Support manufacturing equipment needs in both a proactive and reactive function with the main objective of minimizing machine downtime.
- Maintain the inside and outside of the facility in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform preventive maintenance program tasks with production and engineering personnel.
- Participate in maintaining supplies and spare parts inventory to support operational needs.
- Coordinate wastewater treatment plant procedures and schedules to best accommodate the production demands and town reporting requirements with Quality.
- Support janitorial services with production and administrative areas, ensuring a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
- Be willing to serve on the Manufacturing team, the Safety Committee and/or be a designated contract person for security and fire alarm response.
Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
Required:
- Minimum five years of experience in a related field. Certifications/advanced education may be considered in lieu of work experience.
- Willing to work shift work, overtime, and weekends.
- Lifting & carrying requirement up to 40 lbs.
- High troubleshooting IQ.
- Ability and willingness to successfully handle increased responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills required; ability to read, write, keep neat & accurate records, & follow written & verbal instructions.
- Must be a United States Citizen with an ability to demonstrate suitability for a Position of Public Trust.
Preferred:
- HS diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with Maintenance Planning and Scheduling a plus.
We offer generous shift differentials including 20% for 3rd shift. This position is also eligible for a $3,000 bonus.
