Schedule: Availability to work any shift to include Sundays, 12-hour days.

Position Summary:
Aunt Millie’s Bakeries is now hiring Industrial Maintenance Technicians. In this role, responsibilities include adhering to safety and food safety regulations, enhancing the Preventative Maintenance program to reduce downtime, and troubleshooting and repairing various systems including PLCs, electrical, and mechanical systems. Duties also involve collaborating with multiple departments, organizing the maintenance shop using 5S methodology, and learning the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system. Additionally, the position requires training new technicians, communicating effectively, and handling other assigned tasks.
Essential Job Functions:
Ensure safety and food safety by adhering to all company, OSHA, and government regulations, including implementing Lock-out/Tag-out procedures and following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Support and enhance the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program to consistently reduce unscheduled downtime.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and develop sustainable solutions for issues with equipment, including PLC-controlled equipment, plant electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic, and mechanical systems such as motors, instrumentation, distribution, and feed control systems.
Work collaboratively within a team environment that includes production, sanitation, engineering, and maintenance departments.
Organize the maintenance shop using 5S principles.
Learn and effectively utilize the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) computerized maintenance system.
Acquire and implement safe work practices, facilitating advancement to higher technician roles.
Perform additional tasks as assigned and effectively communicate written job instructions.
Train Entry Level Maintenance Technicians and Maintenance Apprentices.
Minimum Position Qualifications/Education:
High School Diploma or GED required; vocational or technical education is preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance required, with 5 years preferred, and experience in food manufacturing is ideal.
Ability to work any shift and overtime as needed, including days, weekends, and holidays.
Must meet the physical demands of the job, such as kneeling, bending, lifting, working at heights, and wearing required PPE.
Proficiency in using basic electrical troubleshooting equipment.
Capable of wiring electric motors and performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting of variable frequency drives (VFDs), electrical motors including three-phase equipment, sensors, and various digital and analog input/output devices.
Experience in welding (any type) and reading/understanding electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints is beneficial.
