SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the maintenance team by troubleshooting, problem-solving & implementing a full maintenance and repair program for the following systems: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Support installation, repair, and troubleshooting for a wide range of production equipment.
Inspect equipment and systems to identify issues and provide maintenance to prevent failure.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures.
Plan and schedule repairs.
Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job position is in a manufacturing environment and uses company-supplied uniforms. The primary environment will be ambient room temperature, production lighting, and exposure to various types of equipment. The performance of this position requires exposure to manufacturing areas where personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety-toed shoes, safety glasses with side shields, and hearing protection are mandatory.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Will be required to stand for long periods of time. Ability to operate material handling equipment. This job requires the ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM-10:30 PM, but extended (earlier or later) work times or weekend work may be required.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma/GED
Self-Starter
Must be mechanically inclined
5+ years of experience troubleshooting Fillers, cappers, labelers, case sealers.
Basic electronics experience and be able to read schematics
Mig and tig welding
5+ years of experience troubleshooting 24, 120, 208, 240, and 480volt single and three-phase circuits
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Simple math
Ability to lift 50 pounds
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Working knowledge of basic pneumatic systems
Working knowledge of basic hydraulic systems
Pharmaceutical or food manufacturing experience or other highly regulated industries
Demonstrates a high level of organization in task management.
Demonstrates logical planning for task execution & follow-up.
