Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift: 2024
Description
* Machining (e.g. milling, drilling, grinding, throwing) as well as non-cutting operations (eg. bending, trueing) is part of the daily job
* Assemble functional components, connect measurement equipment to work units and implement control systems in operating machines
* Define and document work and service instructions
* Check and test machine functions
* Service and maintain blow molding machines, downlines, cooling stations, welding machines, leak tester, ect.
* Adjust and update machine functions and movements
* Execute troubleshooting for machine functions and automated process steps
* Continuously improve automation and support preventive maintenance
* Support SMED activities
* Improve existing production lines and manufacturing processes
* Gather, document and analyze machine performance data
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
* Degree as Industrial mechanics; Engineering mechanics; Mechatronics; Technician preferred
* Several years of work experience in an automated manufacturing environment (automotive preferred)
* International experience appreciated
* Familiar with blow molding process and machines;
* Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic and electric systems
* Knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Must approach a structured and well organized work flow
* Knowledge in Lean tools, 6S, A3, PDCA, TPM,...
High school diploma or GED required
