$26 - $30/hour based on skill level/experience.
1st Shift: 7 am - 3 pm, OT as necessary.
Serves as a member of a Maintenance Team, providing technical maintenance assistance and support to Manufacturing Teams.
Responsible for providing preventative and corrective maintenance on all buildings, utility systems and operating equipment within the business unit, and for suggesting and implementing maintenance improvements.
Will train Manufacturing Team Associates in general maintenance skills and procedures relating to machinery and equipment within their workstations. Primary job goals will include ensuring the safe and efficient operation of machinery and equipment within the business unit for safe operations and preventing or minimizing production downtime.
Through quick and effective troubleshooting as well as through thorough and consistent preventive maintenance, the Maintenance Technician supports Production by correcting and preventing equipment malfunctions that could lead to nonconforming product or missed delivery commitments. The Maintenance Technician also maintains facilities so that Production and support functions can operate safely and efficiently. By keeping our equipment operating effectively and maintaining our facilities, the Maintenance Technician plays an important role in our efforts to achieve Centro’s strategic plan stretch goals and quality objectives.
Requirements:
-An AAS degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or related field and a minimum of 2 years experience in a related field is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is desired. High school diploma or GED required.
-Training programs such as an apprenticeship, college, or continuing education.
-Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
-Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
-Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
-Ability to use hand and power tools, as well as testing and diagnostic equipment.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
-Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
