Maintenance Technician (1st Shift) at Impact Business Group Inc

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) activities as directed by the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Conduct basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Operate machining equipment such as lathes, mills, drill presses, and bandsaws.
• Perform fabrication projects using welding and bolted assembly techniques.
• Accurately record work activities into the CMMS.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and the maintenance shop, adhering to 5S standards.
• Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with maintenance staff and personnel from other departments.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in completing scheduled tasks.
• Good mechanical aptitude, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of the maintenance organization's role and function within a manufacturing environment.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical certification or a minimum of two (2) years of equivalent experience in a relevant field.
