Job Details
As a Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be primarily responsible for working independently installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining, all mechanical and electrical components of production and facility equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for manufacturing productivity and product quality via the maintenance department
Troubleshoots and repairs manufacturing equipment (motor controls, DC/AC drives and controls, frying, temperature instrumentation, burner systems and controls, packaging machines, electronic scales, programmable logic controllers) etc.
Responsible to repair various types of facility equipment (pumps, fans, air compressors, hydraulic equipment, HVAC) etc.
Must be able to troubleshoot and repair PLC controlled equipment.
Prepares, coordinates, and implements preventive maintenance.
Completes installation and repair work from schematics and drawings.
Capable of minor electrical installations.
Responsible for quality and food safety tasks for their position.
Responsible for ensuring food safety in all actions and responsibilities
Follows food safety practices and all applicable requirements of the SQF System
Follows instructions and training for reporting of food safety problems to appropriate personnel
Requirements
Requires knowledge and skills in electrical, mechanical, and electronic applications acquired through 2-5 years of experience or education.
Mechanically inclined and able to calculate basic math and measurements.
Able to read and work from blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics.
Requires the ability to troubleshoot and repair all types of equipment quickly and independently.
Requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Requires working at heights above ground level.
