Shifts: 6am-2pm (paid lunch break) Pay: up to $36/hr -experience and quality of interview factor in DescriptionThis position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and indirectly to the Shift Production Managers and is responsible for maintaining all machinery, equipment, and facilities at the Downers Grove location. We are looking for an experienced Electrical and Mechanical maintenance technician. Duties may include preventative maintenance (PMs), pipe fitting, welding, light machining, electrical or mechanical repairs or equipment, installing, aligning, assembly of new equipment, and repairs to the facility such as lighting, plumbing etc. Work will be performed in all departments of the facility, including turning, grinding heat treat, plating, assembly, and support equipment throughout the plant. This position is required to follow the proper safety procedures as well as strictly adhere to all documented procedures around the processing of parts. This Position is also responsible for contributing to the improvement of safety, quality, productivity, cost, and 5S in all production areas. Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proof of technical training in electronic systems, a certified training program or completed a 4-year training program in related fields
- 5+ years of experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment repairing production machines
- Must show proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and the use of hand tools, power tools, and use of testing equipment such as a VOM
- Must understand blueprints, schematics, specifications, instructions, operation manuals/manufacturers manuals, and specifications to perform scheduled and emergency repairs
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair. Dmg Mori, Okuma, Okamoto grinding equipment, brands such as DMG Mori, Okuma Okamoto, Toyoda. 480 volt,120 volt, low voltage, PLC’s
- Must work as part of a team within the department and production areas
- Performs all work following established safety procedures
- Resolves most questions and problems utilizing all resources available and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels
- Works under minimal supervision
- Attends training courses to improve skills to perform repairs on newer machines and equipment
- May include other responsibilities as assigned
