About the Job
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the Tube Mill and various equipment associated for production that is consistent with the quality requirements for products.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follows workplace safety practices set forth by SOPs.
- Ability to follow and meet scheduled work deadlines.
- Troubleshoot Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Perform/establish/implement Preventative Maintenance schedule and tasks.
- Recommend Equipment improvements that enhance operational safety, efficiency, and reliability.
- Implement, maintain, and improve electrical components, equipment, products, machinery, and/or systems.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance for all equipment.
- Able to troubleshoot electrical issues including PLC troubleshooting.
- Assist in Electrical and Mechanical related projects to improve productivity.
- Works effectively across all levels of the plant organization, individually, and with cross functional teams.
- Ability to troubleshoot High frequency induction equipment Variable frequency drives.
- Able to read and troubleshoot using Electrical and Mechanical Schematics
- Active lead required during breakdowns and scheduled downtime.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to read measuring devices/equipment.
- Strong written and verbal communication
- High School Diploma/GED (preferred)
- Ability to perform arithmetic and numeric reasoning.
- Advanced problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of forming/weld mills preferred.
- Safety and Quality oriented
- Ability to work effectively with fellow employees.
- Basic Computer Knowledge
- Hi-Lo License/Crane License Preferred
