We are thrilled to announce a new opening for a Maintenance Supervisor! In this role, you will lead our maintenance and safety efforts to ensure we stay on track for production goals.
Job DescriptionTHE ROLE
- LEAD PEOPLE: Lead, Manage, and hold Accountable (LMA) your direct reports. Hire, train, and supervise maintenance department employees. Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work.
- SAFETY | MAINTENANCE: Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance. Troubleshoot and repair machinery to ensure it works properly and is safe for employees. Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations. Ensure operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair. Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for the execution of maintenance work. Ensure that company premises and facilities are in clean and hygienic condition.
- INVENTORY | BUDGETING: Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance. Monitor inventory of materials and equipment. Participate in coordinating projects (e.g., renovations).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- KNOWLEDGE: Minimum 3 years experience in a Maintenance Supervisor, Operations Manager, Production Manager, or similar role. High school diploma or equivalent, a vocational degree a plus.
- SKILLS: A proven track record leading a team with clear direction and accountability. A record of safety and troubleshooting on the job. Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.). Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations. Understanding of budgeting and performance management. Ability to cast a vision and lead planning efforts for new equipment expansion. An eye for detail and ability to operate basic computer systems (Excel, Outlook, etc.) Excellent communication and people skills.
- ABILITIES: THIS ROLE IS ONSITE IN OMAHA, NE and requires the ability to work at our office at 132nd & L Street. Must be authorized to work in the United States, and able to pass a criminal background check and drug/alcohol screen. Desire to live out our values as a team player and advocate for our culture:
