JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* To ensure that all maintenance functions, including preventative maintenance are following company and  

* brand standards for compliance and safety 

* Ensures fulfillment of preventative maintenance programs o brand standards including equipment, heating  

* and air conditioning units, ice machines, fire extinguishers/smoke alarms, plumbing 

* Completes preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public space 

* Ensures swimming pool and spa maintenance duties are performed according to brand standards and health department regulations 

* Proactively follow specific departmental procedures in performing repair, maintenance, alteration, and installation work in a safe and neat manner. 

* Delegate, supervise, and participate in all preventive and general maintenance programs by maintaining a room's maintenance strategy and scheduling preventive maintenance 

* Assists other departments in fulfilling guest requests and resolving guest concerns 

* Educated hotel personnel on emergency procedures and safety precautions 

* Acts as Manager on Duty when required 

* Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

* Minimum of High School education, post high school education preferred 

* Minimum of one (1) year in a hotel maintenance position, supervisory role preferred 

* In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

* Ability to multi-task  

* Team player  

* Ability to exceed expectations of guests
