Job Details
Conduct morning Gemba walks of primary equipment areas, including daily temperature checks on equipment such as Raymond and Pebble Mills, and inspecting overall condition.
Collaborate with Mill and Mine departments to prioritize and schedule both planned and break-in work.
Ensure availability of standard work for maintenance technicians and proper utilization of non-routine task forms.
Develop team members through observation, auditing, and coaching when necessary.
Audit the quality of maintenance work and build standard work with team input.
Drive the 5S program and audit the team’s adherence to it.
Ensure execution of the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) plan goals each week.
Execute the Lubrication Plan and Preventative Maintenance Plan for the site.
Assist planner in plan changes based on data from temperature checks, vibration analysis, oil sample analysis, and visual inspection.
Ensure team members input hours into work orders and check out parts.
Build weekly team schedules and assist Planner with weekly maintenance planning and critical spares meetings.
Drive Stop Card Program and Suggestion System with the team.
Operate forklifts to load and unload materials.
Act as a liaison to all departments to ensure appropriate and accurate distribution of materials, data, and information.
Assist with special projects as needed.
Review documents prepared by team members for accuracy and legibility.
May fill in for others during vacations or absences.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
At least 10 years of plant experience in an industrial environment
Ability to speak and read English required, with previously held Electrical or Mechanical Tech 4 skill set
Proficiency in computers, typing, accounting, and purchasing.
Ability to work with MS 365, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication skills and professionalism in dealing with suppliers and team members.
Responsible for quality and safety control.
Capable of working various schedules, including Sundays, and in hot and cold environments.
Detail-oriented with the ability to recognize and fix errors.
High School diploma
