Spherion here! We're seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Supervisor to join customer's our dynamic and growing team! In this crucial role, you'll be responsible for overseeing all installation, maintenance, and repair activities for our client's facility. You'll supervise a team of maintenance workers, ensuring efficient completion of work orders, adherence to safety protocols, and a well-maintained work environment.

Responsibilities:
Lead and Motivate:
Provide direct supervision to maintenance technicians, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring accountability.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and problem-solving.
Address personnel issues, including scheduling, conflict resolution, and performance management.
Optimize Maintenance Operations:
Manage maintenance requests, prioritizing tasks and scheduling work to meet production needs.
Oversee preventative maintenance plans, ensuring equipment reliability and uptime.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate work order systems and inventory control of spare parts.
Ensure a Safe and Organized Workplace:
Enforce safety regulations and procedures, fostering a safe work environment.
Organize and maintain the maintenance shop according to 5S principles.
Manage documentation related to equipment and maintenance activities.
Skills:
Experience with electrical and mechanical systems.
Knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office products.
Understanding of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles.
Qualifications:
Possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field (engineering, technology) or at least 5+ years of relevant experience.
Have a strong track record in leading and motivating maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
Understand lean manufacturing principles, preventative maintenance programs, and work order systems.
Are proficient in technical writing, documentation, and record-keeping.
Possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
