About the Job
Oversee and manage the Balemaster maintenance team that repairs, rebuilds, and maintains manufacturing production machinery including CNC machining centers, hydraulic equipment, cranes, and facility upkeep.
Responsibilities
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Safety: maintain a safe work environment and comply with all external regulations and internal policies.
- Maintain processing equipment by proactively utilizing preventative maintenance to maximize the equipment’s available uptime.
- Manage, direct, train and mentor the maintenance team members.
- Create and maintain a culture of proactive, preventative maintenance throughout the organization.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Proficient in reading and understanding electrical schematic, hydraulic schematics, and mechanical drawings.
- Ability to trouble shoot and repair industrial machinery.
- Previous experience in repairing, installing, and maintaining 480-volt power systems and bus ducts.
- Knowledge and previous experience use of maintenance software, preferably MaintainX or equivalent.
- Licensed or certified electrician credentials is a plus.
- Quality focused – Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness – Looks for ways to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
- Willingness to continue advancing knowledge, skills, and certification(s).
Working Conditions:
Heavy industrial environment with mechanical activities requiring personal protective equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods, sit, walk, stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift fifty (50) pounds. Be able to work at high heights, use forklifts, ensure safety procedures are followed, and implement preventative maintenance of all facility equipment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Three (3) or more years of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
- Three (3) or more years of experience in facility and industrial machinery maintenance role.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, hydraulic schematics, and mechanical drawings.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery.
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed or certified electrician credentials.
- Prior forklift experience.
