Maintenance Supervisor
Primary responsibilities for the Maintenance Supervisor
- Provide Maintenance employees with guidance, direction, and supervision in support of departmental operations.
- Promptly address performance issues.
- Actively promote all company policies and expectations, especially in support of safety plans and results.
- Execute planned and scheduled maintenance operations within assigned area of responsibility.
- Maintain a positive work environment by regularly communicating with employees on the shop floor and responding to employee issues and concerns in a timely manner.
- Maintain well-organized and productive work areas.
- Work with others to achieve department and company goals and objectives.
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
- High School Diploma required. Two-year college degree - Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing/operational environment preferred.
- Practical understanding of industrial/maintenance principles, standards, methods and practices.
- Knowledge of disciplined problem-solving methods.
- Flexibility in terms of shift assignments and/or rotations.
- Ability to work extensive hours in support of continuous operations
- Working knowledge of (MS Office, Outlook, Work and Excel).
- Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem solving skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and make appropriate decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment.
- Ability to work in an industrial environment
- Ability to work with associates at various levels of management.
